CLFN Features Storyteller Mahesh Paudyal among Visually-impaired Children

Children’s Literature Foundation Nepal (CLFN) featured renowned author and storyteller Mahesh Paudyal among visually-impaired children at Laboratory High School, Kirtipur on Wednesday as a part of the Mount Everest Storytelling Express Programme. Paudyal, a university lecturer of English literature by profession, is a celebrated critic, storywriter and translator, and has authored seven books for children, and edited and translated more than three dozen works of other authors from Nepali into English. In the event, he told stories to the children, recited poetry and delivered a motivational lecture aimed at boosting the morale of the children.
  Together with him, spiritual thinker Yogi Subodh Regmi, CLFN's President Kartikeya and talented young poet Bibas Babu told stories and motivated the children. Ramesh Subedi, renowned music composer and singer sang words penned by Mr. Paudyal. 
The session was chaired by Dr. Lakpa Sherpa, Principal of the School.
