Tripurari Sharma is a well-known theatre
personality in India and currently works as a professor of Drama at the
National School of Drama (NSD), where she teaches acting, writing, and
directing. A graduate from Delhi University and NSD, Sharma has written and
directed numerous plays including children’s productions.
She has worked with both the NSD theatre
company, Theatre in Education, and the Alarippu organization.
Sharma enjoys creating engaging characters and
plots that children relate to. Her work has received many honors including the
Safdar Hashmi Award and the Sanskriti Award.
